Mikelle Murdoch
My name is Mikelle Murdoch and I have spent the majority of my life engulfed by the arts. For the past few years, I tried to explore alternative career options, but I quickly realized there will be no escape for me. I heard the call and now I must answer. I'm Midwest born and raised, but I took a brief sabbatical to the intermountain west for school. I have two cats, a dog, and a beloved husband, Joseph. I love my job and I am beyond thrilled to be able to do my dream job full-time.
Why tattoos
Tattooing felt like the next logical step in my progression of artistic media. There is no form of art more intimate than the visualization of personal expression on the skin. Tattoos have been a part of human history for thousands of years across many cultures regardless of region or history and I felt like it was important to me to contribute to that history. Tattoos can be a way to feel more connected with yourself as well as build self confidence. It's a way to appreciate and emphasize aesthetics in a uniquely custom manner. If you like the art, why not be the art.
