Mikelle Murdoch
I'm a multi-disciplinary artist working across tattoos, ceramics, murals, and paintings. My practice is rooted in the belief that art should be accessible, meaningful, and deeply personal.
From the permanence of ink on skin to the delicate nature of fired clay, each medium I work with offers its own unique challenges and rewards. I'm drawn to the contrast between them—the way a tattoo becomes part of someone's body forever, while a ceramic piece might shatter at the slightest touch.
My work often explores themes of nature, mortality, and transformation. Whether I'm creating a botanical tattoo, sculpting a vessel, or painting a mural, I aim to capture something authentic and enduring.
When I'm not in the studio or at the shop, you'll probably find me collecting bones, exploring the outdoors, or working on my next ambitious project.
